| ABOUT MY WORK |
All of my paintings are created as an artistic response to what I see. I find inspiration in almost any subject, and I treat each painting and subject the same. I begin by quickly sketching what I see using large brushes and bright colors. With smaller brushes, I continue to draw the scene until I am comfortable with the design. I fill in shapes oaf color, letting the paint mix right on the canvas. As I am painting, I take digital photos that I use both to finish the painting and in creating the digital art.
From the digital photos of the original paintings and photos of the scene I am painting, I create images that are not just reproductions, but a new work of art.
